2026 District 12 Traveling Award

The purpose of this award will be to encourage visitation and traveling among brother not only in our district, but beyond and being an active part of the brotherhood and fellowship that exists within our great fraternity!

This can be done by groups of brethren, or by individuals. When a brother travels to another lodge they should always sign in.  Secretaries may send a photo or their registration book in OR individuals may fill out the attached google form and that will register attendance. We’re NOT trying to create more work for Secretaries!

1.        Visits may count for any Masonic Lodge stated meeting or degree (any tiled meeting).  Attendance for affiliated bodies in a lodge (OES, DeMolay, Rainbow, Shrine Club, Grotto, York Rite Bodies or Scottish Rite clubs do not count for this award).

2.        If a brother is a plural member, they may only give credit to their home lodge.  Also, attending a meeting of a plural lodge is not “visitation” and will not be counted (you should be at those anyway!).

3.        Visitation is encouraged at ANY Lodge that is recognized by the Grand Lodge of Tennessee, so out of state/country lodges and PHA affiliates in recognition all are counted!

4.        A visit should be from the opening until the closing gavel of a meeting.

5.        The goal is to provide an updated report monthly with data so that lodges and brethren can see progress.

6.        The dates for attendance will be from January 1, 2026-December 1, 2026 (this will allow time to compile all results and prepare a presentation to the lodge with the most visits and the brother with the most visits.
